Senior High Leadership Team:
Heath & Alisa Stoner have been married for 11 years. They first got their excitement for youth ministry when they were interns at the Honor Academy 15 years ago. Heath received his Communications and Bible degree from Oral Roberts University in 1998. Heath went on to continue his education at Liberty University and graduated with his Master’s Of Business Administration in 2010. Alisa received her B.A. degree from Oral Roberts in 2000.
Heath & Alisa have a desire to lead youth toward Jesus in multiple ways. They believe in the power of preaching, relational discipleship, and allowing teens to be part of small group that they can grow together in. Heath & Alisa have 3 children and enjoy spending time with them.
Worship Pastor:
Based in Iowa, Mary Vorrath used to lead worship for youth group at church and traveled with a Christian band called “Faith Sound” to churches to minister at different congregations throughout high school. Then God called her to East Texas several years ago. She served on the Ministry Team of Acquire the Fire and traveled around the Nation ministering to youth. She also helped start the School of Worship Program and is now in her 7th year working with Teen Mania. She is now the Director of the School of Worship and teaches some of the classes in the program as well. She continues to travel and lead worship at youth conferences throughout the year and also travels oversees to Norway leading a group from the School of Worship to minister through music all over the country. She is a songwriter for this generation. The School of Worship has a new album coming in Sept and 2 of the songs featured are written by Mary. This will be Mary’s 3rd year working with the youth at CCF and leading the youth band. She loves working with the youth and getting involved in their lives and seeing worship take them to a new level in their relationship with God.
Junior High Leadership:
Randy and Bethany Olsson are both natives of California. Randy and Bethany met a couple years ago working at Teen Mania Ministries and are newly married. Randy spent his teenage years like Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde, describing His life before Christ and then after. Bethany grew up in a fabulous Christian home and has served the lord for most of her life! Now united, they both have a passion to see young people Love Jesus more! Randy has been working with the youth at CCF for several years now and Bethany will be starting her 2nd year working with the youth. They are thankful to be serving in the ministry of CCF and hope to make a significant impact on the youth!
Hello Randy. I was talking to a friend who has a house in Colorado, she suggested I make sure that you will be requiring the kids going on the ski trip to wear a helmet. Apparently, head injuries have sky rocketed with the popularity of snow boarding, as many snow boarders are not as in control as skiers and it only takes one hit in the wrong place to make a good trip go bad really quick. They said that about 75 to 80 percent of people at ski resorts are now wearing helmets and that you rent them with the ski’s and snowboards.
